Mark Bunnell, RLA, is a partner in the landscape architecture firm Quennell Rothschild & Partners. He has more than 35 years of experience designing and restoring public and private landscapes in New York City and beyond, including Pershing Square in Manhattan and Fowler Square in Brooklyn. Many of his projects have involved collaboration with artists, including Maya Lin, Alison Saar, and Xu Bing. His work also includes campus design projects for Sarah Lawrence College, Trinity College, and Colgate, Duke, and Brown Universities.

A LEED-accredited professional, Mr. Bunnell has completed several LEED projects, including the Lion House at the Bronx Zoo, and several intensive green roof projects, including a 1.5-acre rooftop commons at John Jay College. He also designed green roof planting for the new Statue of Liberty Museum. His recent project to adaptively restore the Flushing Meadows Corona Park Fountain of the Fairs created a unique fog environment for park visitors.

Mr. Bunnell has lectured on sustainable site design at Columbia University and other institutions. From his travels he brings first-hand knowledge of many historically significant landscapes in Europe, Japan, and the United States.
