Zack is the current manager of the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory at the New York Botanical Garden, where he leads the team that maintains its renowned glasshouse plant collections and horticultural exhibitions. With a passion for nursery and greenhouse horticulture, he brings extensive experience in plant care, conservation, and sustainable horticultural practices. Zack holds a degree in Environmental Horticulture from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Before joining NYBG, Zack served as an advanced gardener at the United States Botanic Garden, specializing in carnivorous plants, orchids, and Mediterranean climate species. He also worked at the California Academy of Sciences, helping to maintain the institution's iconic living roof. Zack is committed to sustainability in horticulture and takes pride in growing and curating a diverse range of plant species.
