Liman Cheng is a horticulturist and consultant. Currently he is straddling between work in the butterfly vivarium at the American Museum of Natural History, and advising clients on ecology-based landscape projects. In 2021 he became the lead horticulturist at Little Island, monitoring, tending to and documenting over 300 species, while preparing the garden for its grand opening with the horticulture director and landscape architect. Liman was invited to speak at Wave Hill about the park and his journey in the field. Other garden experiences include Brooklyn Grange, The High Line, Lurie Garden and Sissinghurst Castle. |
