Niek Bijkerk, MSC, is a dedicated educator with over 10 years of experience as a high school chemistry teacher in the Netherlands. Relocating to New York City allowed him to pursue his passion for botany. During his four years at the New York Botanical Garden, he served as both School Program Educator and School Program Coordinator while earning a Botany Certificate. Niek currently resides in Bratislava, Slovakia, where he continues to explore his love for plants and education.
