Alfred Planco is a simple country boy born and raised in NYC. He entered the world of Landscape Architecture through a career in teaching, urban farming, and residential gardening. A graduate of City College, Alfred is a licensed Landscape Architect as well as an ISA Certified Arborist. Alfred has designed a plethora of public projects including the new cherry tree planting at Sunset Park, the reconstruction of Orchard Beach Pavilion, NYU Tisch Courtyard, and the tree planting masterplans for Mosholu Parkway & Crotona Park. He is currently employed at NYC Parks as the lead Landscape Architect in the Park Tree Planting Program. In his non-existent free time, Alfred loves to get his hands dirty with native plants. Be nice to him, because he plants your trees! |
