Alfred Planco
Alfred Planco is a simple country boy born and raised in NYC. He entered the world of Landscape Architecture through a career in teaching, urban farming, and residential gardening. A graduate of City College, Alfred is a licensed Landscape Architect as well as an ISA Certified Arborist.

Alfred has designed a plethora of public projects including the new cherry tree planting at Sunset Park, the reconstruction of Orchard Beach Pavilion, NYU Tisch Courtyard, and the tree planting masterplans for Mosholu Parkway & Crotona Park. He is currently employed at NYC Parks as the lead Landscape Architect in the Park Tree Planting Program.

In his non-existent free time, Alfred loves to get his hands dirty with native plants. Be nice to him, because he plants your trees!

Turning a vision into a plan is the designer's first challenge. Analyze landscapes, formulate the requirements of a design project and then translate them into schematic design solutions. Take part in class discussions and critiques, and present projects.
