The soft touch and gradation of colors are what make hydrangeas a consistent favorite among garden and floral enthusiasts. In this class, you'll be introduced to flower drying techniques and learn tips on how and when to prune hydrangeas to preserve color and shape for arrangements. Using antique hydrangeas and other flower and plant materials, you'll create a long-lasting seasonal wreath for your home.
Materials Information:
Price includes a $80 materials fee for plant materials and hard goods. Please bring a florist knife, wire cutters, scissors, pruners, a camera, and a box or bag to carry home your work. A Floral Tool Kit is available for purchase through the Registration Office. Please call 718.817.8720.
