Close-Up and Macro Techniques for Nature Photography


Through presentation and discussion, review all aspects of close-up photography so you can learn how to create intimate, detailed portraits of surrounding nature including flora, fauna, and other natural subjects. Explore different methods such as macro, micro, focus stacking, and wide-angle close-up photography. You'll also review the proper equipment needed such as zoom telephotos, close-up diopter filters, extension tubes, teleconverters, and dedicated macro lenses. Note, this class is lecture-based only, no hands-on photography will occur. Not suitable for iPhone or other mobile phone cameras.
