Winter Trees in Pen and Ink, and Watercolor

Receive a step-by-step approach to painting trees using pen and ink and watercolor. Using reference photographs, you'll learn to create ink drawings of trees, layer glazes in watercolor, and apply techniques such as dry brushing and masking to create bark textures. During class, you'll have the option to paint an entire tree, a close-up of a tree section or bark, or a combination of all three. Prerequisites: Pen and Ink and Botanical Watercolor I
