Disease Identification and Management

Learn common diseases of woody and herbaceous ornamentals and turfgrass, and the cultural, biological, and least-toxic strategies for their control.

Materials needed:
Hand lens and/or magnifying glass to see diseases outdoors. Please be prepared for 30-45 minute walking tours on sunny/cloudy days. Bag lunch or snack is optional.

Note: This class is a requirement in NYBG's Horiculture Certificate Program, Tracks 1, 2, & 3. It is not the same class as GAR324 (which is also titled "Disease Identification and Management" but within the Gardening Certificate Program).
