Biography: Having practiced in a variety of vocational disciplines, Steve brings a unique mix of experience to the COCC Construction Training team. His career path began in furniture manufacturing and cabinetmaking, transitioned to residential carpentry in the late 70's, and eventually crosses nearly every discipline in residential construction from design to finish. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Oregon in 1984, a Teaching Credential in Business and Industrial Arts in 1987, and an Oregon Contractors license in 2002. In addition to construction disciplines, Steve's career includes ten years of software development as well as three years of elementary school administration. In an era of increasing specialization, Steve remains the consummate "jack-of-all-trades," always ready to share his passion for plumb walls, tight joinery, and good humor.
