Metal Arts Youth Camp
Step into the exciting world of metal fabrication! This hands-on camp is perfect for students with no prior experience in metalwork. Throughout the week, students will learn to safely operate welding equipment, prepare and join metal using GMAW welding, and cut metal using a CNC Plasma machine. Students will combine these skills to design and create their own unique metal sculpture. Taught by expert faculty from the COCC Manufacturing and Applied Technology Center (MATC), this engaging and interactive camp is open to students ages 12-15 who can follow safety protocols and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Safety gear including welding gloves, welding hoods, and all necessary PPE will be provided for use during the camp. Ages 12-15.

Photography 101 Youth Camp: Learn to Take Pictures with a Pro
Photography 101 will prime campers with the knowledge of how to take photos from the perspective of a professional photographer. Made possible by a generous partnership with the Condon Arts Council, students will be supplied with Canon Mirrorless cameras for this camp, making learning about camera handling, composition, exposure, and capturing movement even more exciting. The week will be filled with creative projects and photo excursions across campus, and learning with others. Students will leave the week with a portfolio of images and confidence using a DSLR, mirrorless camera. Taught by professional photographer, Rosie Day, also the photographer and videographer for COCC. Ages 10-15

Photography 102 Youth Camp: Intermediate Learning with a Pro
Photography 102 students will learn to use the DSLR or mirrorless camera in full manual mode. Made possible by a generous partnership with the Condon Arts Council, students will be supplied with Canon Mirrorless cameras for this camp, making learning about camera handling, composition, exposure, and capturing movement even more exciting. Engaging hands-on activities will allow students to control shutter speed, aperture, ISO and white balance while developing their own photographic style. The week will be filled with creative projects and photo excursions across COCC's beautiful campus. This camp is recommended for students who have taken Photography 101, or have previous photography experience. Taught by professional photographer, Rosie Day, also the photographer and videographer for COCC. Ages 10-15.
