This introductory mindfulness course teaches students meditation techniques and how to apply mindfulness principles to daily life. Students will develop skills to manage thoughts, emotions and sensations while enhancing mind-body awareness and exploring mindfulness theory and research. The course is suitable for both beginners and those seeking to refine their practice, with a mix of lectures, practice and discussion. This is a non-credit Community Education course, taken with credit students. You will not receive college credit.
