Biography: Steve Brainerd has a strong passion and enthusiasm for home brewing. He brings 40 years of home brewing experience including designing his own recipes and growing hops. He is a certified beer judge through the Beer Judge Certification Program and is active in three home brew clubs. He is constantly learning and has taken several UC Davis Master Brewers classes. We are guessing that Steve's experience as an engineer helped him design and build a complete ½ barrel brewing system. He enjoys the outdoors and is an avid runner, hiker, snow skier, and mountain biker. Steve loves to talk about beer and teach others.
