Instructor: Robbie Bianchi-Pray

Robbie Bianchi-Pray
Biography:

Robbie helps people reclaim their health by reducing chronic pain and dysfunction using Myofascial Release, structural bodywork, nutrition, and yoga therapies at Riverside Wellness in Bend, Oregon.

Her initial training in massage therapy cracked her world open and put her on the path to transformational change. When she realized weakness and imbalance were taking a huge toll on her clients, she pursued her certification as a personal trainer so she could help them. But she then found out that her clients diets were completely messed up. To help them get off the hamster wheel, Robbie learned all she could about food and nutrition and got her certification as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Certified Fermentationist. The most important thing she learned from this education...It's all about the gut!

This realization led Robbie to become a Certified GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome) Practitioner. At this point, she thought she had it all figured out until she noticed that her clients STILL seemed to be missing something. She then flew across the world to the birthplace of yoga to learn how to balance the body and mind. She graduated from a 500-hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India and then set off by motorcycle to put all that she had learned into action. After returning to the USA, Robbie began her intense study of Myofascial Release with John Barnes, PT and has since made it the cornerstone of her practice. Robbie believes fascia is the leading edge treatment for pain and dysfunction and has great success helping people with chronic conditions who have fallen through the cracks of our medical system.
