Biography: James Broadus Wilkie V is a Master Beekeeper and the owner of the local business, Broadus Bees. The mission of Broadus Bees is to create a sustainable business through selling honeybee products, installing and maintaining hives, and educating the public about the critical role bees play in the natural world. Jimmy has a degree in wildlife biology from Western State College in Colorado. Jimmy is fascinated with bees and their critical importance to the environment. In order to help grow the vital, endangered honeybee population, Jimmy strives to educate people about the importance of bees in the production of the food we eat every day, so we can become contributing citizens of our precious biosphere.
