Pottery: Hand-Building Ceramics Techniques

Designed for those at the beginner to advanced beginner level, this course introduces the foundational techniques of working with clay using only your hands and simple tools. Students will explore multiple hand building techniques including: press, hump/slump and slip casting molds, box forms with lids, and coil and slab sculpture. This course provides a supportive environment to experiment with personal expression whether you're looking to try something new, or start your journey in ceramics.
