Cascading and suspended floral installations add an elegant and whimsical element to both grand and intimate spaces. Using a variety of dried and preserved flowers and foliage, you'll unleash your creativity as you learn the specific techniques and mechanics to constructing your very own suspended, cloud-like, sculpture. Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Form

Materials Information
In-person classes: Price includes a $100 materials fee for plant materials and hard goods. Please bring a florist knife, wire cutters, scissors, pruners, a camera, and a box or bag to carry home your work. A Floral Tool Kit is available for purchase through the Registration Office.

A jewelry designer for over 25 years, with a focus on botanical forms, Giulia made the natural evolution to floral design, completing the NYBG certificate program in 2024. Specializing in wearable floral art and sculpture, Giulia combines her love of floral mechanics with intuitive expression and tactile forms.
