Biography: Chris Ludwig is a consultant Flight Analyst and Powerplant DER at his company, TS Integrators LLC. Chris was a Flight Test Engineer on the Sikorsky CH-148, S-92A, VH-92A, and CH-53K programs, and he was an Aircraft Test Director/Conductor on the S-92A and CH-53K. As a consultant DER, Chris has experience working TC, ATC, and STC projects on the Boeing/Leonardo MH-139, Leonardo AW139, Bell Textron 212, 412, and 525, Airbus AS350, and the Erickson S-64 Skycrane. Chris has been responsible for varied test activities including Climatic Chamber Testing, High Altitude and Extreme Hot and Cold Weather testing, Powerplant and Fuel System Testing, Shipboard testing, engine performance testing, and FADEC to avionics integration. Chris has conducted safety of flight monitoring for powerplants, drive systems, fuel systems, avionics/electrical systems, hydraulics, and FBW flight control systems. Chris has also served as the Chair of the SAE S-12 committee overseeing aerospace standards development for Vertical Lift Propulsion. In addition to his flight test and certification activities, Chris has been a LabVIEW software developer since 2007 and has developed multiple aircraft data acquisition, recording, processing, and display applications for use in flight and ground testing with a focus on automation to reduce monitoring workload, processing turnaround times, and to enhance test safety with improved control room software. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University and a Master of Science in Aviation Systems with a concentration in Flight Test from the University of Tennessee Space Institute.
