Biography:

Dr. Denise Kaye was born and raised in Southern California. She earned her B.A. in Speech Communication from San Diego State University, M.A. in Communication Studies from California State University, Northridge, and Ph.D. in Intercultural Communication from Southern Illinois University.

Her professional background includes working in the technical field implementing networks for health care and manufacturing companies, and owning an internet service company. In the educational field, she taught high functioning elementary autistic children, and business and computer courses for a technical college.

Currently, she teaches both undergraduate and graduate communication courses, consults online course developers, and produces online course videos. Her own online course experience as a student motivates her to reach out and connect with those who need flexibility in their schedule without sacrificing standards for education.
