Biography:

Kelly Jo Zellmann, MS, RDN has over two decades of experience working in various healthcare settings as a clinical and consultant dietitian. She knows first-hand the value of the CDM, CFPP credential and is dedicated to inspiring future CDM, CFPPs to reach their goal of earning this valued certification. For the past 10 years, Kelly Jo has also been an adjunct faculty instructor and preceptor for the University of North Dakota's (UND's) Nutrition and Foodservice Training Program. She is proud of the hundreds of students she has mentored who have gone on to pass the CDM credentialing exam. Kelly Jo became the Nutrition Certificate's Program Coordinator at UND in November 2022. She is now able to advocate and grow the profession on a daily basis and considers this to be the best and most rewarding job she has held. Kelly Jo graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree from UND in 1999 and earned her Master's degree in Nutrition with an emphasis on Nutrition Education and Counseling from UND in 2018.
