With the district focus on relationships and the building focus on relationships, it seems natural to start the day building and cultivating those relationships. Using Responsive Classroom's, The Morning Meeting Book, we will be able to have a framework to set up this time with students.

The Daily 5 gives teachers everything they need to launch and sustain meaningful independent work, including materials and setup, model behaviors, detailed lesson plans, specific tips for implementing each component, and solutions to common challenges. By following this simple and proven structure, teachers can move from a harried classroom toward one that hums with productive and engaged learners.
