CHEM 116: Introduction to Organic and Biochemistry

Does not satisfy the prerequisite for any advanced chemistry course. A second semester of general chemistry with emphasis on organic and biochemistry. Includes alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, aromatics, alcohol, phenols, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids, esters, amines, amides, carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids, proteins, and nucleic acids.
