Learn how to dye fibers naturally using food waste. Explore techniques on how to repurpose your food scraps to create a brilliant color palette-from yellow and red onions that create copper tones and deep mustards to avocado skin, pits, and foraged plants for pops of green, yellow, pink, and more. You'll walk away with a variety of naturally dyed fibers for everyday use. All materials included.

Materials Note:
If you'd prefer to bring your own fiber materials, please email continuinged@nybg.org one week prior to the class.
