Luke Sparreo
Luke Sparreo is a PhD student at the New York Botanical Garden and the City University of New York. Luke studies the North American pitcher plant family, Sarraceniaceae, with a focus on taxonomy, biogeography, and the evolution of plant-arthropod associations. Prior to his work at NYBG, Luke published research on the systematics of crops and wild relatives in the grape family, Vitaceae, and received BAs in Botany and Environmental Studies from Connecticut College.
