From cooling mint to zesty citrus and soothing chamomile, you'll discover the diverse flavors and properties of various nutritious and delicious herbs and flowers. Instructor:	Suhaly Bautista-Carolina Suhaly Bautista-Carolina Suhaly Bautista-Carolina Suhaly Bautista-Carolina is an AfroQuisqueyan herbalist, artist, educator, and community organizer. She is a graduate of the Sacred Vibes Apothecary spiritual herbalism apprenticeship, and continues in the legacy, art, and tradition of spiritual herbalism. In 2018, Suhaly founded Moon Mother Apothecary, a practice and offering of heart-centered, moon-powered medicines created in the traditional wisdom and knowledge of her ancestors. She has hosted plant medicine-making workshops with organizations including Gossamer, The Wing, Creative Time, Weeksville Heritage Center, The Museum of the City of New York, Ethel's Club, The Highline, and Fotografiska and currently co-leads an ongoing "Lunar Herbs" workshop series with GoldFeather. Suhaly is a proud member of United Plant Savers, Herbalists Without Borders, and Queer Healers.
