Jonathon Matz
Jonathon Matz is a practicing Landscape Designer and graphic designer. His experience stems from a background in graphics and representation, reinforced with technical knowledge gained from experience at a multidisciplinary office. He is interested in the intersection of design, ecology and community in the urban environment.

Jonathon has worked on projects of varying scales, from pocket parks and playgrounds to green roofs and large land development projects. He gained a passion for community design and engagement during his studies at State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF) through courses in community design and independent projects with local communities. In his free time, Jonathon enjoys hiking and camping in the Catskills and learning about native plants.

Jonathon holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF) and a Bachelor of Fine Art in Graphic Design from State University of New York at New Paltz.
