Olivia Cheng is the founder and Chief Creative Officer of womenswear brand Dauphinette. Using food, flowers, and discarded or found materials, Cheng constructs everything from her famous earrings to couture-like upcycled pieces that have been featured at the likes of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Smithsonian, and also earned her a spot on Forbes's 30 Under 30 Art and Style list. As Dauphinette's 60 Bedford St. flagship has quickly turned into one of the downtown crowd's favorite shopping spots, she sets her sights on opening a wine bar and incorporating upcycling into the luxury fashion vernacular. |
