Emma B. Turner is a certified arborist, botanist, and horticulturist as well as an artist and writer from New Jersey. She received a BA in English from Tufts University, a Horticulture Diploma from the New York Botanical Garden's School of Professional Horticulture, and is currently working on her Master's in Natural Resources from University of Idaho. Previous to NYBG, Emma worked in all aspects of organic agriculture for six years, growing vegetables, cut flowers, and fruits. Her passion for land stewardship and ecological restoration has led her to working on projects with native plants, ecotypic seed collection and propagation, and forest regeneration. Currently, Emma is working as a consulting arborist in New York City. |
