Mark is an ISA Certified Arborist and tree climber currently employed by the New York Botanical Garden. Mark began his tree care career with the Davey Tree Expert Company in the summer of 2020. During his time at Davey Mark gained experience in tree climbing, rigging, risk assessment, felling and chainsaw use. He attended the Davey Institute of Tree Science in the winter of 2024.
Mark is no stranger to the outdoor classroom, prior to his transition into tree care Mark was an outdoor educator for the Y for over five years. He holds a BA in Environmental Studies and a double minor in Biology and Wilderness Education from SUNY Potsdam.
