Elissa Gore
 Elissa Gore has shared her passion for nature through landscape painting for over forty years. Previously a certified medical illustrator and professor of fine art, she now paints full-time. She often travels to paint outdoors on site and later develops these studies into large works on paper and canvas. She has had more than twenty solo exhibitions and her work is in eighty corporate collections including the US Art in Embassies program. She frequently paints "en plein air" in the Adirondacks and along the Chesapeake Bay. Elissa first taught at NYBG in1984. She shares her plein air painting trips: elissagore.blogspot.com .
