Dr. Mary Hogan Camp is an art historian and artist specializing in European and American art from 1350 to the present. She holds a PhD and MA from the Courtauld Institute in London and an MA in interdisciplinary art from Columbia College, Chicago. Her PhD focused on the portraiture of Jacopo Pontormo, first court artist to the Medici. Her research interests include portraiture in all media, European drawings of the 15th-18th centuries, the history of women artists, and the history of photography. She was a member of the Education department of the Morgan Library and Museum in NYC for many years, served as print room assistant at the Courtauld Prints and Drawing Room in London, and taught art history and the history of photography in the Washington State Community College Consortium serving on faculty in Washington State, London England, and Florence Italy.
