Richard Rosenfeld
Richard Rosenfeld, MD, MPH, MBA is a Distinguished Professor and Past Chairman of Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose, and Throat) at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, where he founded the Committee for Plant-based Health and Nutrition and is faculty advisor to medical students for the Lifestyle Medicine Interest Group, Downstate Initiative for Nutrition Empowerment, and the Downstate Running Club.

Dr. Rosenfeld is the Director of Guidelines and Quality for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and is a Diplomate and Board Member of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. He is an international expert on evidence-based medicine, clinical practice guidelines, and expert consensus methodology.

Dr. Rosenfeld follows a whole food, plant-based diet, runs marathons, and enjoys regular weight training. His scholarship includes nearly 400 published articles and chapters, over 1,000 scientific presentations in 20 countries, and 5 books. He has been listed as one of America's Top Doctors for 25 years by Castle Connolly.
