With over 30 years' experience, Nancy A. Minich, HTR, RLA, ASLA, is a licensed landscape architect and registered horticultural therapist and principal of NAM Planning & Design, LLC in Pennsylvania. She has published articles on healthcare, human ecology, design, and working with specific therapeutic populations. She is a university professor teaching horticultural therapy and a frequently requested speaker for both healthcare and design-affiliated organizations. Nancy formerly served on the board of directors of the American Horticultural Therapy Association. Her design work focuses on planning and design of public and private spaces, therapeutic gardens, and disturbed landscapes, using ecosystem biomimicry to enhance ecological function, and human and environmental health.
