Style and Shoot: Van Gogh's Flowers and Palette
Spend an inspiring two days honing your floral design, photography and social media marketing skills! Each day, students will delve into the works of Van Gogh and fellow Impressionist painters for inspiration. Floral designer & instructor Barbara Mele will show you how flowers are represented in the Impressionist period along with techniques to achieve the broad stroke style of the time. Photographer and educator Jamie Jamison will illuminate still-life vignettes and teach you how to photograph your floral work and a variety of props to the best effect! Learn helpful tips and tricks to creating successful social content to promote your floral talents.
Materials Information:
Price includes plant materials and hard goods. Please bring a florist knife, wire cutters, scissors, pruners, a camera, and a box or bag to carry home your work.
