Nature Writing in Cities
For as long as people have been writing, nature has been a major preoccupation of writers of all kinds. Explore the history and craft of nature writing as you review works ranging from the ancient Epic of Gilgamesh to modern publications such as Robin Wall Kimmerer's Braiding Sweetgrass. Over the course of this class, you'll discuss assigned readings as a group and engage in a constructive, collaborative workshop of your peers' writing as well as your own.
