The Plant Immune System


Learn how plants defend themselves against diseases. In this class, you'll dig into the history of plant immunology and review the most recent breakthroughs in research. Grow your own model plants that are typically used to study plant immunity and through lab work, you'll receive hands-on experience in the DNA, RNA, and protein-based methods that scientists use to investigate the mysteries of the plant immune system.
