Jim has been in the electrical trade since 1979 as an electrician, electrical supervisor, electrical inspector and continuing education provider. He is an approved instructor for Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Utah. Jim still accepts contracts out of love for the work, to keep current with new technology (pun intended), and to stay in touch with the constantly shifting demands of electrical contracting. He finds the most joy in sharing his hard-won knowledge and expertise. He currently provides training for Oregon Electrical Supervisor and many other CEU training courses.

Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Electrician for Oregon and Washington; Oregon Certified Level A Electrical Inspector; Certified 1 & 2 Family Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical and Structural Inspector; Certified ICC (International Code Council) Electrical Inspector and Electrical Plan Reviewer.

Memberships: National Fire Protection Association, International Association of Electrical Inspectors, 14 years on the National Electrical Code (NFPA-70) as a code making panel member on CMP-8 and CMP-2.
