Kimberly Bowker is a freelance writer and narrative journalist based in Bend, Oregon. After graduating from Middlebury College in Vermont, she returned home to work at The Bulletin for three years and continued on to earn a master's degree in Literary Nonfiction from the University of Oregon.

She remembers having her first craft beer at Bend Brewing Co., which started a love affair with the beverage that represents so much more than beer. She served as a Tour Guide and Beer Educator at Deschutes Brewery, and currently focuses her writings on craft beer, travel, and stories about those in our community.
