NYBG Certificate Programs are tailored to meet your professional goals. Each consists of a core of required courses and a selection of electives, plus in some cases, a required portfolio or internship. Certificates classes held days, evenings and weekends to fit any schedule.

SUMMER INTENSIVE PROGRAMS
If you’ve decided to pursue a Certificate in Landscape Design, Floral Design, Gardening, or Therapeutic Horticulture, our Summer Intensives are an ideal opportunity to complete the program faster. Take advantage of the Garden’s incomparable resources and top professional instructors in a concentrated program that will put your career on the fast track.
NYBG’s SCHOOL OF HORTICULTURE AND LANDSCAPE DESIGN
NYBG’s School for Horticulture and Landscape Design (SHLD) provides committed students with an opportunity to take their interests to the next level. SHLD is licensed by the New York State Department of Education, which recognizes our Certificate Programs as high quality and career-oriented.
Any student who pursues a Certificate in Horticulture or Landscape Design at NYBG for professional reasons is required by the State to formally enroll in our program.
