Spring Foraging Walk


Join herbalist and foraging expert Journei Bimwala for an immersive walk through spring's edible landscape. Using sight, touch, smell, and taste, you'll learn to identify, harvest, and understand the deeper meaning of wild plants-their cultural significance, medicinal power, and culinary potential. Explore ethical foraging, sustainable harvesting, and how to incorporate these seasonal gifts into your daily life for nourishment and healing.

Class Information:
This class will take place in the classroom and outside on Garden grounds. In the classroom, you'll interact with provided materials to help you identify different plant species while foraging on your own. Outside, you'll explore different areas of the Garden to identify edible plants. Please note, you won't be able to physically take natural materials from Garden grounds.
