Sympathy arrangements, properly composed, pay tribute to a departed loved one and offer solace to the grieving. There are details to be discussed with a bereaved family, special etiquette to be observed, and a wide choice of designs that make a touching statement of final tribute. Construction and mechanics of funeral baskets, casket sprays, and set pieces associated with a diversity of cultural traditions are emphasized. Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Form

Materials Information:
Price includes a $180 materials fee for plant materials and hard goods. Please bring a florist knife, wire cutter, scissors, pruners, a camera, and a box or bag to carry your work home. Alternatively, a Floral Tool Kit is available for purchase through the Registration Office. Please email ContinuingEd@nybg.org to inquire.

He has created lush, large-scale projects for royalty, political figures, and society clients in France, Monte Carlo, Saudi Arabia, the U.K., and the U.S.; and for the past ten years, he has been an inspirational instructor here at NYBG.
