Natural Beeswax Candle Making
Saturday, 11/8, 2-5 p.m.
Dive into the history of beeswax candles as you learn how to make candles from natural materials. Using 100% natural beeswax harvested from a family of beekeepers, you'll craft a variety of candles using specific materials and methods-including pre-made beeswax sheets and a tapered candle dipping method. You'll come away with candles for your home or to give as artisanal gifts, as well as some additional materials that you can use to continue this practice on your own.
Natural Soap Making
Sunday, 11/9, 2-5 p.m.
Have you ever wondered how to make your own natural soap? In this class, you'll learn the science behind three different processes of soap making. Then you'll put your learning into practice as you follow one of these processes to create your own soap. Using 100% beeswax, natural honey, and a variety of oils, you'll have your choice of scent and type of soap you'd like to make.
