Instructor:	Kevin Pace Kevin Pace Kevin Pace Kevin Pace is a Brooklyn based horticultural professional with over 8 years experience working in New York City green space. Primarily with the Trust for Governors Island and has played a substantial role in developing it's horticulture team from its beginnings. He also teaches courses in woody plant identification at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. He has a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Connecticut, a Horticulture Certificate in Sustainable Landscape Management from the New York Botanical Garden, and is an ISA Certified Arborist. Kevin has expertise in arboriculture, ecology, native plant gardening and design, IPM, and utilization and maintenance of power tools and arboriculture equipment. He is passionate about green space development and maintenance in New York City, particularly utilizing ecological restoration and native plant gardening in these contexts.
