Luminous Translucency Using Colored Pencil and Watercolor

In this class, you'll explore how to create translucent effects as you draw botanical subjects such as flower petals and specific fruit parts—such as orange slices and pomegranate seeds. You'll practice advanced layering techniques that build tonal range and luminous color, using both colored pencil and watercolor as you create dimensionality and pop-off-the-paper realism. Prerequisites: Colored Pencil and Botanical Watercolor I
