Joanne D'Auria, owner of HortAbility LLC, was formerly Access & School Workshop Coordinator at Brooklyn Botanic Garden (BBG). Joanne developed and facilitated programs to support BBG's access initiatives. She earned a BA from Brooklyn College in Fine Arts and Education; Horticultural Therapy Certificate (2017) and a Landscape Design Certificate (1996) from New York Botanical Garden. Former member of the Museum Arts Culture Access Consortium (MAC) steering committee and is a current member of the Mid-Atlantic Horticultural Therapy Network and Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Best Practices Working Group. |
