Phyllis D'Amico, HTM, is a registered horticultural therapist with theAmerican Horticultural Therapy Association and has worked in the fieldfor over 25 years with children and adults of all ages and abilities. Phyllis has created an award-winning horticultural therapy program for specialneeds students at the New Jersey Regional Day School in Newark, where she is the Lead Science Teacher and Horticultural Therapist. Shespecializes in children's garden design, organic gardening, nutrition education, and community inclusion programs. Phyllis earned a Certificate in Horticultural Therapy from the Botanical Garden, where she has been an instructor for 30 years.

Anne Meore, LMSW, HTR, is a Licensed Master Social Worker and a Registered Horticultural Therapist. She earned a Certificate in Horticultural Therapy from the New York Botanical Garden in 2007; a Certificate in Permaculture Design from Oregon State University; a BA in Psychology &Elementary Education from Bethany College; an MA in School Guidance Counseling from New York University; and an MSW from FordhamUniversity. Currently, Anne is the Coordinator of the Garden Ministry at Bon Secours Charity Health System and an instructor at The Edible Academy at NYBG; owns Planthropy, LLC; serves on the Board of Directors of theMid-Atlantic Horticultural Therapy Association, Inc.; and works in theHorticultural Therapy Greenhouse Program at Bergen Regional Medical Center.

Matthew Wichrowski, MSW, HTR, has been practicing horticultural therapy at NYU-Langone Medical Center for 20 years, where he is SeniorHorticultural Therapist, and a clinical assistant professor of rehabilitation medicine at the NYU School of Medicine He lectures nationally and internationally and publishes regularly in a variety of media on the effects of nature on human health and well-being, the focus of his research interests.Recently, he co-authored the book, The Glass Garden: A Therapeutic Oasis in New York City, which won the 2015 AHTA Publication Award.

A graduate of the NYBG Horticultural Therapy program, Lee Shahay is a full time HT with Parker Health Group in Middlesex County, New Jersey. When she isn't gardening with the residents and elders who participate in the many HT programs at Parker, Lee can be found designing and nurturing her own gardens, and advocating for the future of Monarch Butterflies. Lee is also a member of the Mid-Atlantic Horticultural Therapy Network and the Garden Club of New Jersey.

Mikkele Lawless is a dedicated professional with a passion for harnessing the healing power of nature. Mikkele holds a Certificate in Therapeutic Horticulture from NYBG, enriching her academic background with a B.A. in Psychology. Additionally, she holds certifications in Feng Shui and is a Rutgers Master Gardener.
Mikkele thrives as a Horticultural Educator and curriculum developer, particularly focusing on enriching the lives of seniors battling dementia and other neurodegenerative diseases. Drawing inspiration from her creativity as a biophilic artist, Mikkele infuses her programs with innovation, offering a thoughtful and imaginative approach.
Currently, Mikkele is serving on the board of the Mid-Atlantic Horticultural Therapy Network and dedicating her talents to Parker Health, where she serves as a horticultural therapist, fostering growth, healing, and well-being in the lives of those she touches.

Joanne D'Auria, owner of HortAbility LLC, was formerly Access & School Workshop Coordinator at Brooklyn Botanic Garden (BBG). Joanne developed and facilitated programs to support BBG's access initiatives. She earned a BA from Brooklyn College in Fine Arts and Education; Horticultural Therapy Certificate (2017) and a Landscape Design Certificate (1996) from New York Botanical Garden. Former member of the Museum Arts Culture Access Consortium (MAC) steering committee and is a current member of the Mid-Atlantic Horticultural Therapy Network and Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Best Practices Working Group.
