Farmers in Ethiopia are already experiencing the impacts of climate change through altered drought cycles and the increased presence of a variety of pests. NYBG ethnobotanist Alex McAlvay and Addis Ababa University Professor Zemede Asfaw share what they have learned from interviews with Ethiopian farmers and agroecology research about the many ways traditional farming practices can help protect crops against climate uncertainty.
