Macramé Workshop: Plant Hangers

With origins in ancient Chinese knot work and 13th-century weavers on the Arabian peninsula,macramé is a traditional craft that has taken many forms. Learn the meditative and creative art of knotting as you weave together a beautiful plant hanger. Fiber artist and educator Poliana Danila will guide you through the process of square, spiral,half square, gathering, and barrel knots while sharing some history of this versatile craft.
