This blended class meets online for some sessions and on NYBG grounds for others. Registered students will receive login instructions and a syllabus with specifics. Delicate and feathery or tall and structural, ferns are the perfect choice to make shady, moist pockets of your garden come alive. In a lushly illustrated talk combined with walks on Garden grounds, Mobee Weinstein—NYBG Foreman of Gardeners for Outdoor Gardens and author of The Complete Book of Ferns—will introduce you to the wide variety of fern colors and shapes,their particular moisture and soil requirements, and how best to combine them with other plants.
