Winter Tree Identification - BLENDED


This blended class meets online for some sessions and on NYBG grounds for others. Registered students will receive login instructions and a syllabus with specifics.
Learn the basic techniques of winter tree identification using dormant-season characteristics. Buds, bark, fruit, and growth habits on deciduous plants as well as unique aspects of conifers are taught. Specialized techniques and tools of the trade are discussed. For on-site sessions at NYBG, please dress for the weather.
